Our names are Eddie Thompson and Jeff Pitchford.  We are novice runners who have a desire to raise money for a charity by using an activity that has helped us become healthier.  After some discussion, we have decided to organize our own race and fun walk to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 

As of now, we are aiming to hold our event on October 13th of 2007.  The race/walk will be October 13th, with plenty of activities such as a pig roast, bake sale, etc.  What we are in need of right now are volunteers (individuals or corporate) and monetary/non-monetary donations to make this event possible.  There’s going to be a lot of hard work to do.  We work hard every day.  Why not work hard for a great cause?  I encourage everyone who reads this to live an EXTRAordinary life and help in any way you can.  Please contact one us, if you’d like to help.  Thanks!
